a little jazz lovin'

i've never been a huge basketball fan. over the past year or two, the sport has grown on me since utah has no idea about any other sport...and also kacie is a die-hard jazz fan and has gotten me quite into it. kacie, tristyn, and i went to one of the play-off games with the nuggets vs. jazz it was a blast...now we just need to beat the lakers.

don't worry....i didn't forget.

it has been too long....again

i have become a horrible blogger. 2010 is not the year of blogging apparently...or picture taking for that matter as i have taken next to NO pictures. let's see.... i'm on a quick break from work (inbetween jobs shall i say??) and thought i would quickly update everyone.

yes, i did get my cavities filled....all 3 of them and my fantastic dentist told me that it was NOT due to my diet coke/diet dr. pepper consumption. it is due to the fact of how deeply the groves in my teeth were formed. my mother promptly received a phone call.

dominick and his friends came into town for a weekend of snow boarding and utah"ness". they somehow loved it here...or at least park city. park city is not the same as happy valley. the weather was fantastic, however the snow was not. sadly, i was beat by a new jersey snowboarder. not cool.

since i was in park city, i had plenty of time to catch up with angie and rob....aka one of my favorite patients. rob is now (really far) past his 100 day mark after his bone marrow transplant. this is a huge landmark and he is doing great! i couldn't be happier and neither could they. thanks ang and rob...love you guys!

andrea's birthday was in march and we celebrated with dinner and the "legally blonde" musical. her mom bought us tickets to go up in SLC and it was a cute show.

hmm. what else has happened in my life... i'm headed to dallas this week to see my darling boys. eli called yesterday and told me he caught a red snapping turtle while fishing. he is talking so much! i can't believe how fast they grow up. tate is sitting up and is a gem of a baby.

easter was pretty uneventful. i worked the whole weekend...but we did get free colored eggs on sunday.

anyway...i'll update later next week after i see the boys...and i will not forget my camera this time.

a hard (and sad) lesson to learn.

i had a dentist appointment this past week and found out i have 3 (count them 1...2...3) cavities. the only thing i have changed in the past 6 months since my last cleaning was my increase in consumption of these delicious things....

sadly, i am trying to cut back and quit (once again). easier said then done since these are the drinks of champions at the hospital. looks like i'll be having some tired days for a while.

lately, i have been working on some projects for some people and have been working on them as i fall asleep. i put my ipod on and have come up with my top artists to listen to while falling asleep.

i guess i've been snowboarding too much?

well, i must say that i haven't improved much on my blogging frequency since the last post. This year has been busy and i don't have many pictures of anything. Since the last post, nothing too exciting has happened. The Olympics were amazing and it made me fall in love even more with snowboarding. My mom kept asking me if I could snowboard like shaun white. sadly, i had to tell her no (although i think she was relieved). If i could pick one sport to do professionally, i'm pretty sure it would have to be snowboarding. Talk about getting paid to have fun all the time. This video explains it all.

Treyson (Kacie's little boy) turned 1 on February 20. We made elmo and cookie monster cupcakes and they turned out really precious. I made a total mess of her kitchen. Here are some pictures of Treyson and the cupcakes.

Shelly's birthday was a week and half ago. We went out for sushi and celebrated with some Maino. We had a blast...Happy Birthday Shel!

Hopefully I will be better about updating the rest of this year. I'm planning on making some trips to Dallas to see my boys (and CJ and Mard, too), to Montana to see Jam, Robert, and my new niece as soon as she arrives, and hopefully other fun trips to keep me busy.
