The Holiday Spirit

i'm finally home to kansas...I got here on Saturday and it is freezing. I'm talking about worse than rexburg cold. Saturday I went with Mom and Dad to the Rockettes downtown. I'm amazed at how much Kansas City has changed. I love it...if only people could really see what Kansas City is, and not some farmers wheat field. The Rockettes were amazing and then we went down to the Plaza, where sadly, it was too cold to even think about getting out of the car.

Yesterday, mom and I went shopping up to the Legends, and the weather was just as bad as it was on Saturday.......but we found the greatest deals. Stores are pratically paying us to come shopping...seriously? wouldn't that be amazing. We've had so much fun so far, and Sophie was so happy to see me.
Anyway, everytime I come home i'm reminded of how much I love this city. Tonight, CJ, Mard, and Eli come in town.
This is truly the most wonderful time of the year....and today...the BAKING STARTS :]!

i know, i know...i finally did it.

Yes, yes...i finally broke down and made a blog. I have been holding off because I don't know what I would say...so we will see how it goes. Hopefully it will help keep everyone everywhere updated on my life, since i'm horrible at emails and returning phone calls.

So, it's finals week. One more to go and then only one semester/9 credits left until I am completely DONE. I will finally have my BSN, and at this point, have no interest in EVER returning back to school. It has been rough trying to work full time and go to school full time this semester, but it is finally almost over. The light is finally visible at the end of the tunnel.

I get to go home for Christmas this year and leave Saturday to fly to Kansas. I worked Thanksgiving which was actually a lot of fun. The patient's were great...I really realized how grateful I am for my health, family, and life in general. Utah is not quite as cold as Rexburg so this winter has not been as miserable. Sundance finally opened, and we had the first real snow of the season this past weekend. Hopefully it will be a great season and please pray for NO concussions this year.

Anyway, this post is kind of a mod podge of life to bring everyone up to speed.
